Road & Track relationship with Richard Losee goes back several years and covers a wide variety of vehicles belonging to him and his father, including our long-term test of his Ferrari Enzo. R & T Losee called and asked if we would take a test drive with his new Ferrari supercar in 2003, clearly indicating that this model very limited production is not available for testing procedures routine. Losee agreed with enthusiasm. Because of their generosity, we sent our team to Losee home in Utah to take the examination and photography of our July 2003 edition. And what a team we sent: Ferrari drivers world champion Phil Hill, a longtime partner of R & T photographer John Lamm, director Richard Baron Design and Road Test Editor Patrick Hong.
The test was fabulous, like the Enzo and a few days later, several of our team members in Utah, Nevada and Southern California for the performance test has accumulated about 1,500 miles on the new Ferrari Losee, and creation of several test records I + T.
